FAITH AND WRITING
A plainly Christian life
F. C. Wolf describes Christ as being at the center of his life. He has spoken about drawing nearer to the Lord, spending time in God's Word, and growing in his desire to please Him.
He sensed the Lord's influence while writing Warriors of Dragon Valley. He later said that he had no question the Lord placed the story on his heart and helped him throughout the writing process.
A LIFE OF CURIOSITY
Seattle, St. Louis, and the road beyond
F. C. Wolf spent several childhood years in Seattle. Apart from those years, he has lived in the St. Louis area.
As a teenager, he traveled through Europe alone and remembers having a strong sense of wanderlust. As a student, that curiosity once led him to skip school and hitchhike to suburban Oak Park, where he knocked on the door of Ernest Hemingway's childhood home. A woman answered and invited him inside for a tour.
THE STORY'S ORIGIN
An idea that grew in his heart
F. C. Wolf has long enjoyed creative writing. Over a number of years, an idea built from dragons, heroes, and medieval England developed into Warriors of Dragon Valley.
